The product team has been working hard to deliver features for Jifflenow and iCapture that enhance your ability to capture and follow up on the highest-quality leads. Below are three exciting new releases for Jifflenow.

As a reminder, the Jifflenow release dates will have slightly different launch dates from the Cvent cadence in the near future as we continue to work on aligning product release development work over time. This week's post contains Jifflenow releases that will be released by the end of the month.

      Jifflenow

Enhanced Meeting Edits for Unavailable Attendees

      Expected Release Date: 09/26/2025

What's Changed: New improvements to the meeting edit experience in Jifflenow, designed to make managing attendee availability more transparent, flexible, and efficient—especially when someone becomes unavailable after a meeting is booked.

      • Clear Notifications: When editing a meeting, you’ll now see exactly which attendee is unavailable and the reason for their unavailability.

      • Actionable Options: You can easily remove unavailable attendee(s) or select a new time slot, eliminating guesswork and streamlining the process.

      • Consistent User Experience: Removing unavailable attendees now follows the same participant management flows you’re used to, reducing extra clicks and unnecessary steps.

      • Improved Messaging: Enhanced error messages clearly guide you when an engagement type or meeting slot is no longer available.

Benefit: These updates empower users with meeting edit access to quickly resolve scheduling conflicts, maintain accurate attendee lists, and minimize disruptions. You’ll spend less time troubleshooting and more time focusing on productive engagements.

Enhanced Conflict Visibility for Overlapping Meetings

      Expected Release Date: 09/26/2025

What’s Changed: New Conflict Visibility updates in Jifflenow, designed to make scheduling meetings more transparent and efficient—especially when participants have overlapping commitments.

      • See Conflicts at a Glance: Conflict details for double-booked and double-requested participants are now visible directly in the booking flow. An info icon highlights overlapping commitments, helping you avoid blind scheduling.

      • Clearer Booking Confirmation: A conflict summary pop-up now appears before you submit a meeting request, showing exactly which participants have overlapping meetings. Declined meetings are excluded for greater accuracy.

      • Consistent Experience: Conflict visibility has been extended to unavailable slots and the master calendar. Partial participation, endorsements, and overlaps are all clearly reflected.

      • Better Decision-Making: Staff owners can now assign participants with full conflict context—no more guessing or toggling between double-booking permissions.

Benefit: These updates empower meeting requestors with complete visibility into participant availability, preventing errors, confusion, and unnecessary rescheduling. By reducing manual checks and back-and-forth communication, you’ll save time and ensure smoother scheduling—especially during high-volume events.

      Attendee Unregistration Enhancements

      Expected Release Date: 09/26/2025

What's Changed: New enhancements to the attendee unregistration process in Jifflenow, designed to give you more control, reduce unnecessary notifications, and streamline attendee management.

      • Customizable Notification Recipients:
A new option in Event Settings > Users > Notification allows you to control who receives “Attendee unregistered” emails.

        • This template is visible only when the UserPush API is enabled and registration is set to “true.”

        • Notifications are enabled by default, and recipients can be set to: All MMs (default), specific MM(s), and/or requestors of affected meetings (default).

        • An email content preview is also included for clarity.

      • Consistent & Intuitive Removal UI:
The attendee removal process now aligns with standard participant management, using checkboxes on the edit meeting page.

        • Fewer clicks required, reduces confusion and improves accuracy, and saves time for meeting managers (MMs).

Benefit: These updates ensure that only the most relevant stakeholders are notified when an attendee unregisters, minimizing distractions and unnecessary emails. Meeting managers gain more control over notification settings and benefit from a simpler, more consistent interface for managing attendee lists. With more accurate and real-time attendee data, you can execute events with greater confidence and efficiency.
