Trade Show Solutions Releases For October 22, 2025
The product team has been working hard to deliver features for Jifflenow and iCapture that enhance your ability to capture and follow up on the highest-quality leads. Below are two exciting new releases for Jifflenow.
As a reminder, the Jifflenow release dates will have slightly different launch dates from the Cvent cadence in the near future as we continue to work on aligning product release development work over time. This week's post contains Jifflenow releases that were released early this month.
Jifflenow
Salesforce Integration Improvements
Expected Release Date: 10/08/2025
We’re excited to announce the Salesforce Managed Release 5.3 for Jifflenow, which delivers clearer conflict visibility in the Salesforce Book Meeting flow, more reliable data syncing, and cleaner Salesforce activity creation—enabling teams to plan confidently and report with accuracy.
What's Changed:
Conflict Detail Visibility for Non-Meeting Manager Users (Salesforce Book Meeting Flow): Users with permission to view all meetings now see specific conflict details during booking, aligning with the web experience to reduce scheduling errors and support informed decisions.
Expanded Survey Field Support (Data Sync): Survey fields, including single checkboxes, multi-select, and number datatypes, now sync seamlessly from Jifflenow to Salesforce for complete and accurate records.
Meeting Field Reliability (Data Sync): Single checkbox fields within meetings now sync correctly, ensuring meeting data is consistently reflected in Salesforce.
Robust Batch Syncing (Data Sync): Batch synchronization now fully supports checkbox and date/time fields, eliminating failures and ensuring complete data transfer during bulk operations.
Flexible Activity Creation Timing: You can configure Salesforce activities to be created only after meeting approval, preventing cluttered reports and unnecessary notifications for meetings that may never occur. This can be configured by Customer Success Managers or the Professional Services team based on your business needs.
Benefit:
Fewer scheduling mistakes: Clear conflict details in the Salesforce Book Meeting flow help requestors avoid overlaps and book with confidence.
Trusted reporting: Complete and accurate survey and meeting data ensure reliable dashboards, analytics, and downstream processes.
Operational efficiency: More resilient batch syncing reduces rework and manual corrections.
Cleaner CRM activity logs: Activities created only after approval reduce noise and prevent unnecessary follow-ups or reminders.
Enhanced Badge Scanning Check-in experience & NFC Support for Cvent Badges
Expected Release Date: 10/06/2025
We're introducing several significant enhancements to the badge scanning experience in the Jifflenow mobile apps for phones and tablets. These updates improve flexibility, visibility, and efficiency for check-ins at the events.
What's Changed:
NFC and QR code badge scanning support with Cvent badges: Users can scan both QR code and NFC badges for events integrated with Cvent’s badge kit API; you can switch between QR and NFC modes in the app, and your last choice is saved as the default for future scans; this is fully compatible with events using only QR, only NFC, or both badge types.
Attendee details and auto check-in on scan: After scanning, the app shows a detailed attendee view with attendee information, an auto check-in status that automatically checks in attendees 30 minutes before the meeting start time and up until the end of the meeting, and upcoming or ongoing meetings and session details with room locations so staff can guide attendees instantly.
Improved user experience: Attendee meeting confirmation appears after a successful scan. The workflow has been redesigned for fast and intuitive scanning. You can now access a list of recently scanned attendees. The app also supports both dark mode and light mode.
Benefit:
For organizers: Improved check-in efficiency with fewer manual attendee lookups, enabling smoother on-site operations.
For staff: Immediate, actionable information at the moment of scan, with automatic check-ins reducing manual steps and bottlenecks.
For attendees: A faster, more professional check-in experience with clear guidance to the right meeting or session.
