Cvent Essentials for Meeting Requesters in Access Portal

We are excited to bring Cvent Essentials capabilities to Access Portal, enabling extended users at your organization to request and self-manage events where they'll be inviting, registering, and engaging attendees onsite.

Access Portal users can submit meeting requests and, once approved, gain access to Cvent Essentials for their event. This powerful solution enables users to easily set up a website that adheres to company brand standards, collect registrants, check in participants onsite, and engage attendees during the event through polling and after the event through configurable surveys.

These new attendee management features within Cvent Essentials complement the simplified Budget and Venue Sourcing capabilities for simple meetings available in Access Portal. Together, these features allow extended users to request an event, find a venue, engage attendees, and track costs, all while adhering to organizational policies.

With the addition of attendee management and registration for these events, central planning teams will gain visibility into attendees for simple events. They can run cross-event reports and gain an understanding of attendee demographics and behavior across a broader range of events.
