Jifflenow: Self-service of Attendee Unregistration Notifications & Improving The Removal Experience

    STAGE: Development
    TABLE OF CONTENTS:

We are improving to make the Meeting Managers (MMs) more self-reliant by enhancing their workflow by introducing more targeted and customizable notifications when attendees unregister from events. By refining how and to whom these alerts are sent, MMs can ensure that only the most relevant stakeholders are informed, reducing unnecessary distractions to others.

We are also streamlining the process for removing unregistered users, which will create a more intuitive and consistent experience and empower MMs to manage attendee lists with greater confidence and efficiency.

      Key Highlights

We are introducing targeted improvements to the attendee unregistration workflow:

      • Customizable Notification Recipients:

        • New option in Event Settings > Users > Notification to control who receives "Attendee unregistered" emails.

        • If any UserPush API is enabled and registration is set to 'true', a new template ("User Unregister notification to MM and Requestors") will appear.

        • Default state: Enabled.

        • Recipients can be set to:

          • All MMs (default)

          • Specific MM(s)

          • Requestors of affected meetings (default)

        • Email content preview fields (subject and description) will be visible but non-editable.

      • Consistent & Intuitive Removal UI:

        • Align the removal process for unregistered users with the standard participant management flow (checkboxes on the edit meeting page).

        • Eliminate the need for extra clicks and hidden menus, reducing confusion and manual intervention.
