Jifflenow: Enhanced Badge Scanning experience with NFC support

We are enhancing the badge scanning workflow in the Jifflenow mobile and tablet apps (iOS & Android) to offer a more flexible and informative experience, now with NFC support:

Key Highlights

1. Dual Badge Type Support

• The apps will now start to support scanning of both QR codes and NFC badges for Cvent-integrated events.

• Allow users to toggle between QR and NFC modes in the UI.

• Persist the preferred scan mode for each user per event.

  

2. User Experience Improvements Post Scan

• A View showing:

  • Attendee details

  • Auto check-in confirmation

  • List of upcoming/ongoing meetings or sessions with location info

• Allows users to scan additional badges or view recently scanned attendees.
