Cvent Assistant - Registration Set Up Capability
Cvent Assistant — Registration Setup Capability (Beta)
Setting up registration in Cvent involves a lot of moving parts—registration types, admission items, fees, and more—each with their own settings and dependencies. The Registration Setup capability for the Cvent Assistant lets you configure all of it conversationally, in your own words, without needing to know where everything lives or in what order to build it.
Describe what you want—"I need a member tier and a non-member tier, each with their own pricing" or "add an early bird discount through March 1st"—and the assistant handles the translation, sequencing, and configuration behind the scenes.
What you can do with this capability
Update registration and pricing settings to enable the right features on your event, set registration deadlines, manage capacity, and configure pricing options
Create and manage registration types to control who sees what during the registration experience
Build admission items to offer different types of packages to different attendees
Add optional items like meals, add-ons, or donations
Set up fee structures, including early bird pricing windows and refund policies
How it works
Speaks your language: You don't need to know Cvent's terminology. Describe attendee tiers, ticket types, or pricing rules the way you think about them—the assistant maps your intent to the right configuration.
Dependency-aware: The assistant understands what needs to happen before something else can be built, and handles the sequencing for you automatically.
Knows your event's current state: Ask what's already configured and the assistant will tell you, so you're never starting blind.
Knows its limits: For actions it can't yet perform, the assistant will let you know and guide you to the right place in Cvent to complete the step yourself.
