Dedicated Timezones for British Columbia, Alberta, Manitoba and Surrounding Regions
Several Canadian regions have stopped changing their clocks and now stay on the same UTC offset all year. Planners running events in these regions need a timezone that matches local time, so event times display and convert correctly.
New timezones for British Columbia and Yukon, Alberta and the Northwest Territories, and Manitoba and Northwestern Ontario
Each one uses a fixed UTC offset with no daylight saving time, so times stay correct every year
Event times show correctly on your event pages, in the attendee app, in emails and in calendar files
Attendees see their own region's name automatically
Until these are available, use these timezones for events dated 01 November 2026 or later:
British Columbia, Yukon (UTC-7): (GMT-07:00) Arizona or (GMT-07:00) Mountain [Mexico], not Pacific [US & Canada]
Alberta, Northwest Territories (UTC-6): (GMT-06:00) Central America, Saskatchewan or Mexico, not Mountain [US & Canada]
Manitoba, Northwestern Ontario (UTC-5): (GMT-05:00) SA Pacific, not Central [US & Canada]
You can relabel these in Language Management so attendees see their region's name. Events dated before 01 November 2026 don't need any changes.
