      Summary

The Eloqua Integration Modernization is designed to deliver a more reliable, secure, and user-friendly experience for our teams and customers. This release focuses on two major improvements: a complete backend rebuild and a revamped configuration experience.

      1. Backend Service Rebuild: Enhanced Performance, Security, and Real-Time Sync

While the core functionality of the integration remains the same, we’ve migrated the connector to our modern integrations framework. This upgrade brings several key benefits:

      • Improved Performance & Stability: The new framework is more robust, ensuring data syncs are faster and more reliable.

      • Enhanced Security: Built-in security enhancements provide greater protection for customer data.

      2. New Configuration Experience: Simpler, More Intuitive Setup

We’ve also overhauled the configuration process for Admins in Cvent, making it easier to set up and manage the integration:

      • Centralized Access: Configuration has moved from the Push API page to the Integration Apps page, providing better visibility and aligning with the experience of our latest integrations.

      • Streamlined Setup: Integration points are now grouped by Contact, Event, Session, and Feedback Survey Syncing. Similar triggers are bundled together and can be enabled with just a few clicks.

      • Modern Field Mapping: The new field mapping interface (modeled after our Hubspot and Marketo integrations) makes it much easier to map Cvent and Marketo fields, including support for Custom Objects. We’ve also removed the previous restriction that forced Event and Session objects to sync to separate Custom Objects in Eloqua, addressing a key limitation for customers.

      • UTM Parameters: Customers will no longer need to configure a separare integration to sync UTM Parameters to Eloqua. These fields are now included in the main integration field mapping. These fields can continue to be mapped to Contacts or they can sync to a custom object - preventing overwritten data and allowing historical tracking for your contacts across all your events.
