      What is this feature?

Email Notifications for Integration Errors is a planned Splash enhancement focused on giving users faster awareness when an integration error or failure happens. In its first phase, the feature is being scoped as an email notification that alerts users when an integration runs into a problem and points them to the error logs for more detail. It is part of Splash’s broader work to improve integration reliability and reduce data sync delays.

      How will it work?

When an integration error or failure occurs, Splash will send an email notification to the user with a call to action to review the related error logs. The current plan is to start with a simpler first version rather than full self-service recovery and expand in future.

      Who is this for?

This release is for Splash customers who rely on integrations to move data between Splash and other systems, especially admins, technical teams, and event stakeholders responsible for monitoring sync health and troubleshooting issues when they happen.

      Why should you care?

Faster awareness when something breaks: Instead of discovering issues later through missing or delayed data, users will be notified when an integration fails.

Less manual investigation: Directing users to error logs makes it easier to understand what happened and start troubleshooting sooner.

A stronger foundation for future controls: While Phase 1 focuses on alerts, the broader direction includes more visibility and recovery options over time, such as replaying errors or self-service retry tools.

Overall, this feature helps address a real customer pain point: integration issues can be hard to spot and slow to resolve. By making failures more visible, Splash can help teams respond faster and keep critical event data flowing more reliably.
