Enhanced API for Agentic Workflows

Create Splash events through AI-powered workflows with less manual setup. This new API layer is in development for customers, partners, and developers who want to use natural-language experiences in AI tools to create Splash events, whether those tools use MCP or direct REST APIs.

At a high level, this release is designed to give AI agents a cleaner, more reliable way to authenticate, discover valid event types and themes, and create events with the right structure and settings.

The initial phase focuses on in-person event creation using existing themes and templates, along with settings like privacy and waitlist support.

Why it matters: today’s API experience is not optimized for AI-native event workflows, and current throughput limits can lead to throttling, delays, and timeouts when multiple processes run at once.

This work lays the foundation for a more scalable, supported way to power AI-driven event creation in Splash now, with event updates and broader lifecycle support planned for future phases.
