ZoomInfo Enrichment Enhancements — Lead Capture
Expected Release Date:
Badge Scan Enrichment: 30 September 2026
Enrichment Indicator in Lead Download & Back Office: Available now in production
Overview
This release brings a series of enhancements to the ZoomInfo enrichment experience within Cvent's lead capture workflow. These updates span the full lead lifecycle — from capture via badge scan, to review in back office, to export for downstream use — making it easier to identify and act on enriched contact data.
What's New
1. ZoomInfo Enrichment for Badge Scan (Available 30 September 2026)
ZoomInfo enrichment is now available in badge scan mode, extending a capability previously limited to business card photo capture and manual contact entry. When a badge is scanned and the contact's first name, last name, and company are successfully mapped, users will see a ZoomInfo enrichment banner below the contact details card.
The ✦ Enrich button appears once the minimum required fields (First Name, Last Name, Company) are captured
UI pattern, banner messaging, and error logic are consistent with the existing business card scan experience
If minimum fields are not present after a scan, the enrichment option will not be shown
2. Enrichment Indicator in Lead Download (Available now)
When exporting lead data, a new column now indicates whether each lead was enriched via ZoomInfo. This makes it easy to filter, segment, and report on enriched vs. non-enriched leads in downstream tools.
3. ZoomInfo Tag in Back Office Lead Details (Available now)
In the lead details view within the back office, enriched leads are now tagged with a ZoomInfo label — giving internal users a clear, at-a-glance indicator of which leads had their data enriched through ZoomInfo.
Why This Matters
These updates close key visibility gaps in the ZoomInfo enrichment workflow. Users can now identify enriched leads at every stage — during capture (badge scan), during review (back office tag), and during analysis (export column) — enabling better data quality tracking and more informed follow-up.
