    JIfflenow: Auto-Decline Unregistered Attendees

    STAGE: Development
    TABLE OF CONTENTS:

When an attendee cancels their event registration, they shouldn't linger on meetings, sessions, and activity sign-ups. Jifflenow now automatically declines unregistered attendees across all associated engagements the moment their registration status changes. This limits the manual cleanup that currently burdens Meeting Managers at scale. A configurable event-level toggle keeps you in control, and automated notifications with a CSV summary ensure no one is left in the dark about what changed.

      Key Highlights:

      • Auto-Decline: When an attendee unregisters, they are automatically declined from all associated meetings, sessions, and activities in one step.

      • Event Toggle: A new On/Off setting controls whether auto-decline is active per event — available only when registration integration is enabled.

      • CSV Notifications: Meeting Managers receive an email with a full CSV of all impacted items; requestors receive a separate email covering only their own impacted items.

      • Safe Default: The toggle is off by default for all events — existing behavior is unchanged until you choose to enable it.

      • Full Audit: Every auto-decline is recorded in the meeting history with a clear reason, distinguishable from manual declines.

      Why it should matter

      • Less Cleanup: Meeting Managers no longer need to manually identify and remove unregistered attendees from across events.

      • Real-Time Accuracy: Reports and attendee lists stay accurate in real time as registration statuses change throughout the event lifecycle.

      • Full Visibility: Automated CSV notifications give every stakeholder a complete picture of what changed, no manual digging required.
