Jifflenow: Self-Service Delete Meetings

Until now, Meeting Managers had no way to permanently remove a meeting; cancellation was the only option, and canceled meetings continued to appear in the meeting list and reports. This left meeting managers with cluttered analytics and no clean way to handle test entries or accidental duplicates without manual workarounds. Jifflenow now introduces a dedicated delete capability, separate from cancel, available for both single meetings and in bulk. Deleted meetings are fully removed from all dashboards, meeting lists, and reports, attendee calendar slots are freed, and an audit trail ensures nothing disappears without a record.

Key Highlights

Single Delete: Meeting Managers can permanently delete any upcoming meeting directly from the meeting list, removing it completely from all dashboards and reports.

Bulk Delete: Multiple meetings can be selected and deleted at once, applying the same full-removal behavior across all selected records in a single action.

Attendee Notification: When a future-dated pending or approved meeting is deleted, a cancellation ICS is automatically sent to all attendees to update their calendars and prevent lingering confusion.

Clean Reporting: Deleted meetings are excluded from all dashboards, meeting lists, and reports going forward, and they no longer appear as canceled entries or inflate meeting counts.

Audit Trail: Every deletion is logged in event history with details of what was deleted, when, and by whom, giving teams full accountability without the noise.

Accurate Analytics: Post-conference reports and dashboards reflect only real meetings, making data more trustworthy for executive reviews and ROI conversations.

Less Workaround: Meeting Managers no longer need to build filters or manual processes to exclude test and duplicate entries from their reporting views.

Attendee Clarity: Attendees are never left with ghost meetings on their calendars, the automatic ICS notification keeps everyone aligned the moment a meeting is removed.

Faster Cleanup: Bulk delete makes it practical to clean up large volumes of test data before or after an event without processing records one by one.

• This enhancement applies to the Jifflenow web platform.

• Deletion is a permanent action — deleted meetings cannot be restored. Meeting Managers should use this capability intentionally, rather than for cancellation.

• The cancellation ICS on deletion is sent only for future-dated meetings in Pending or Active status

• Past or ongoing meetings cannot be deleted by Meeting Managers.

• Mobile, SFDC, and Outlook App handling for the deleted status will be addressed in a follow-on release.
