Live Activities for Session Engagement

One of the biggest barriers to session participation today is the friction of navigating to the right screen at exactly the right moment; this update eliminates that barrier entirely by surfacing key engagement opportunities where attendees naturally look during a session. We're excited to introduce native device support for in-session engagement through iOS Live Activities and the Dynamic Island, along with Android live updates — bringing Attendee Hub engagement features right to attendees' lock screens and home screens during sessions.

Attendees will be able to take quick actions for an active session directly from their device's native UI, without needing to open the app. This will include the ability to take a Snapshot or deep-link straight into the session detail screen with a single tap -- which has also been updated to optimize use specifically for in-room session engagement. This makes participation feel instant and effortless, and ensures that our highest-value engagement features — like Snapshots — are never more than one touch away during the moments that matter most.
