Manual Participation Tracking

When attendance is recorded outside Cvent, organizers can be left with incomplete participation data for reporting and follow-up. We’re building a way to record and correct participation directly in the Attendee List in Cvent Essentials and Cvent Webinars, so event data stays accurate where teams manage their events.

• What we are building:

  • Organizers will be able to mark participation for an individual attendee from the Attendee List or update multiple selected attendees at once.

  • Each participation update will record the organizer who made the change and the time of the change. This history will appear in the attendee profile and Participation Report.

• Why it will matter:

  • Event teams will have an audit trail that shows who changed a participation record and when, helping them answer data-integrity questions with confidence.

  • Marketing teams can use accurate participation data for reporting and downstream customer relationship management and marketing automation workflows, supporting attendance-based follow-up.

• What to Know:

  • This capability is being built for Cvent Essentials and Cvent Webinars. Organizers will manage participation updates from the Attendee List, with no additional license needed.
