OnArrival Badge Designer - Account Badge Templates
Overview
Account Badge Templates will bring centrally managed, reusable badge templates to Admin, giving administrators a single place to design, govern, and distribute badges across both Essentials and Standard events.
Today, badges are created event by event with no account-level source of truth. Planners recreate similar designs from scratch each time, admins have no way to control which designs surface for which users or event types, and inconsistent branding follows. Account Badge Templates will eliminate that friction: administrators will be able to create and manage templates through the OnArrival Badge Designer in Admin, enforce visibility by user and event type, and give planners a template-first starting point every time they create a badge. Planners will be able to customize a template for their specific event without affecting the underlying design, and the badge list will make it easy to distinguish template-based badges from any created from scratch.
Key Highlights
Centralized badge governance: Administrators will be able to create, edit, preview, and retire badge templates directly from the Library section, with controlled permissions for who can modify template-based event badges.
Template-first creation: Event planners will be guided to start from a template; "create from scratch" will only appear when no templates are available to them.
Rule-based visibility: Admins will be able to configure which templates are shown to which users and event types, reducing noise and eliminating manual assignment.
Smart application logic: When a template is applied to an event, unsupported elements (based on event type and enabled features) will be automatically removed, with clear user notifications.
Brand consistency at scale: Every event, across Essentials and Standard, will start from an approved, on-brand design rather than an ad-hoc recreation.
