Product based users - Creation via Meeting Requests

We’re extending the power of the Meeting Request Form (MRF) by introducing automatic event creation specifically for Cvent Webinar and Essentials users. This enhancement allows organizations to automatically create the appropriate event type — Webinar or Essentials basis the user type.

With this release, requests submitted by Webinar or Essentials users can automatically trigger event creation using existing Advanced Settings configuration in Meeting Request Form. This ensures that lightweight, self-managed events also follow the same compliant and auditable intake process as larger meetings.

For meeting requesters, this creates a streamlined, end-to-end experience — from request submission to event creation — without requiring separate tools or duplicate data entry.

For administrators and planning teams, it brings greater visibility and governance to the event lifecycle by ensuring that every Webinar and Essentials event originates through a tracked, policy-aligned workflow.

This enhancement marks the first step toward fully integrated meeting management, laying the groundwork for future support of account users and workflow-driven event creation in upcoming phases.
