Tap to Connect: NFC Support for Connections

This release supports NFC-powered connection requests in the Attendee Hub mobile app, giving event attendees the fastest path yet to building professional connections on the show floor.

With the new feature, attendees simply tap their phone to another attendee's conference badge to send a connection request — no searching, no scanning, no fuss. The recipient accepts or declines through the same familiar flows they use today. Building on the QR-based badge scanning Cvent launched earlier this year, NFC tap extends that momentum — bringing seamless networking to any NFC-enabled badge, regardless of design.
