      We are introducing templates for Event Events so program administrators can define complete, reusable communication strategies for events, and event planners can apply a full set of messages in a single step instead of configuring every email individually.

      Email templates will exist in the same admin library of templates for Essentials, Webinars and Standard Events, so admins can manage them in a central location.


      What you will be able to do

      For Standard Events, program administrators and event planners will be able to:

      • Create admin-curated email templates for Standard Events
        Administrators will be able to save all emails in an existing Standard Event as an email template in Admin. Each template is a collection of emails that together form an event communication plan, such as invitations, reminders, last chance notices, and post-event follow-ups, along with default sender, recipient, and schedule settings.

      • Control which events see which template
        When saving a template, administrators will be able to define visibility conditions, such as event type and custom event fields, so that only relevant Standard Events see that template as an option during event creation.

      • Apply a template at event creation for Standard Events
        During creation of a Standard Event from scratch or template, a qualifying email template will automatically apply based on the criteria defined by the administrator.

      • Use templates without losing event-specific branding
        When an email template is applied, the emails will adopt the event’s own theme, header, footer, from name, and from address so that communication remains consistent with the event brand while still benefiting from centrally defined content and schedules.


      Why it matters

      Email packs for Standard Events are designed to:

      • Reduce setup time and repetitive work
        Instead of configuring every event email from scratch, planners can start from a complete, administrator-approved set of messages that already includes timing, audience rules, and baseline content for the event type.

      • Improve brand consistency and compliance across programs
        Administrators can define communication patterns once, apply them across many Standard Events, and lock critical sections when needed, so that legal, privacy, and brand requirements are respected even when occasional planners manage events.

      • Support more events under management with confidence
        By providing packaged email strategies aligned to event metadata, organizations can safely empower more planners to run Standard Events in Cvent, while leaders gain assurance that event communications remain consistent and policy compliant. Email packs complement the Email Library for Standard Events by combining individual reusable email templates into complete, event-level communication plans.
