UTM Parameters – Generate and Track Campaign Performance in Webinar
We’re introducing built‑in UTM parameter generation for Webinar, so organizers can create, track, and report on campaign traffic without leaving Cvent. This enhancement builds on our existing UTM tracking and reporting and makes it faster and less error‑prone for teams to understand which channels are driving engagement and registrations.
Today, planners generate UTM links in third‑party tools, append them manually to registration URLs, and then rely on Webinar to capture and report on that traffic. While this works, it introduces friction and increases the risk of inconsistent or incomplete tracking. With this release, planners can generate those same UTM parameters directly from the event’s Marketing tab, keeping everything in one place and in a format that Webinar understands by default.
What’s changing
With this update, organizers will be able to:
Generate UTM parameters directly in Webinar at the event level under the Marketing tab, instead of relying on external tools.
Configure standard and custom fields in a guided UI, including:

Continue using familiar reporting, including the UTM Details by Registrant report and the visual graph on the overview page
