Modernized Cvent Supplier Network Profile Completion Scores

      Expected Release Date: 06/17/2026

What's Changed: We’re updating how venue profile completeness is measured on the Cvent Supplier Network (CSN) so profile scores better reflect the information available on each listing.

The updated model now considers newer profile content such as 3D content, Interactive Floor Plans, Sustainability Certifications, FAQs, and Partner Vendor data.

This update introduces two profile scores for venues:

      • Absolute Score shows how complete a profile is across all profile fields available within CSN.

      • Relative Score shows how complete a profile is compared with other venues on the same listing package.

For event planners, profile completeness will also play a small role in search result visibility, helping more complete venue profiles appear slightly higher when listings are otherwise similar.

Benefit: This update gives you a clearer, more accurate picture of how complete a venue profile is. It also makes profile scoring more fair by recognizing newer content types and comparing venues more appropriately based on their listing level.

      • Venue suppliers and property managers can better understand profile completeness and where they may want to add more information.

      • Planners get a better browsing experience because more complete profiles can receive slightly stronger visibility in search results.

      • Venues are measured more fairly because some purchasable add-on fields are treated differently in the scoring model, so package differences are better reflected.

Knowledge & Support Capability in Cvent Assistant

      Expected Release Date: 06/17/2026

What's Changed: Suppliers can now get help directly in-product with the Cvent Assistant instead of leaving their workflow to search for answers elsewhere. You can ask support questions in natural language, get answers backed by cited Cvent Community content, and move to the right support option when additional help is needed.

Support paths include creating a case, submitting feedback, requesting a callback, or starting a live chat when available. You can also attach files and screenshots when escalating an issue, and AI-generated summaries help reduce the need to repeat information.

This capability will be available to all suppliers.

Benefit: When questions come up, you can get help without breaking your flow. The Cvent Assistant makes support easier to access, easier to trust, and easier to act on while keeping you focused on the work at hand.

      • Get answers faster without switching between tools and support channels.

      • See cited answers grounded in relevant Cvent Community content.

      • Choose the support path that works best for your situation when more help is needed.

      • Access help across products for topics supported by the Cvent Community Knowledge Base.

External Proposals: Sales Manager Contact Input

      Expected Release Date: 06/17/2026

What's Changed: When you create an External Proposal, the sales manager name and email address will now be pulled automatically from the user profile instead of being entered manually. This update applies to CSN Suppliers who create and send external proposals, and those contact fields will no longer be editable during proposal setup. If you need to make a change, you’ll be directed to update the user profile instead.

Benefit: This update helps you send proposals faster while keeping sender information consistent and accurate. It also helps build trust with recipients by reducing the risk of incorrect or misleading contact details on outgoing proposals.

      Product View:

      Google Reviews on Venue Profiles

      Expected Release Date: 06/17/2026

What's Changed: Logged-in planners browsing venue profiles in the Cvent Supplier Network will now see a Google rating in the existing Industry Ratings section alongside ratings like AAA, Northstar, and Forbes. The Google rating includes a star display, average score, and total review count.

Planners can hover over the rating to see additional details, then select View reviews to open a modal with up to five Google Reviews.

This update is additive, so it does not replace any existing industry ratings already shown on the profile. If a venue does not have matching Google rating data, the Industry Ratings section will continue to appear as it does today.

For venues, this experience is automatic and does not require any setup or configuration.

Benefit: This update gives planners an additional third-party trust signal while they evaluate venues, so they can validate quality more quickly and make decisions with more confidence.

Hidden Broken YouTube Links on Venue Profile

      Expected Release Date: 06/17/2026

What's Changed: On Cvent Supplier Network venue profiles, only playable YouTube videos will appear in the gallery for planners browsing your listing. When venue administrators add new YouTube links, invalid or unplayable URLs will now be flagged at the time of entry to help keep profile media clean going forward. If a venue does not have any valid YouTube videos, the gallery will continue to display other media without disruption.

This update does not require any direct action for suppliers. Invalid videos will not appear by default.

Benefit: This update helps your venue profile feel more polished and reliable for planners evaluating your property. By removing broken video tiles and preventing new invalid links from being added, we’re making it easier for planners to focus on the content that best showcases your venue.
