Draft Functionality for External Proposals

Expected Release Date: November 13, 2024

Save drafts of proposals for RFPs that are received outside of Cvent's ecosystem.

With this new release, you will now be able to draft External Proposals, or proposals to RFPs that were received from outside of the Cvent Supplier Network in your Cvent account. After launching External Proposals, you can pause your work on in-progress proposals and come back to the draft when you're ready to send it. Drafts are visible to and can be edited by all users with access to view RFPs for that property and they will also be able to see the sent proposal.

For Smart Custom Proposals customers, add your unique templates to these proposals for consistent branding across all of the proposals you send.

The External Proposals feature is for all Suppliers. Suppliers without Smart Custom Proposals can still send proposals for external RFPs. Smart Custom Proposals customers will have the added benefit of leveraging Smart Custom Proposal templates on those proposals.
