Sustainability Information on the Cvent Supplier Network

We are excited to introduce a new feature on our Venue Profile Pages that highlights sustainability practices, providing event planners with essential information to help them make informed decisions. This is available NOW!

What's New on the Venue Profile Pages?

• Sustainability Section: We've added a dedicated "Sustainability" section under the overview, showcasing the venue's sustainable credentials. This section is divided into two parts:

  • Certificates: Displays all the certifications the venue has earned for its sustainable practices.

  • Sustainable Activities: Details the various sustainable activities the venue is engaged in.

• "View Details" Feature: Planners can dive deeper into the sustainability credentials by clicking the "View Details" button for comprehensive information on certifications and activities.

• Leaf Icon Indicator: To make it easier for planners to identify venues committed to sustainability, a leaf icon will now appear next to the venue name on the profile page.

Who is this feature available to?

This release is in partnership with BeCause, a leading provider of sustainability information. At this time, the release is available to BeCause subscribers, with at least a 1 Diamond CSN Listing in the United States and Canada, and all suppliers in the rest of the world. Please note that later this year this functionality will be made available to non-BeCause subscribers.

Why is this happening?

Sustainability is increasingly important to event planners when selecting venues. By integrating sustainability information into our Venue Profile Pages, we're empowering planners to make more environmentally conscious decisions. This aligns with our commitment to supporting sustainable practices within the event industry.

How will this affect your workflow?

These enhancements are designed to provide additional valuable insights into venue sustainability, complementing the existing planning process. For BeCause subscribers, no changes are required on your part to access or benefit from these updates. For non-BeCause subscribers, no action is required at this time and future announcements will be made when the functionality is made widely available.
