Cvent Supplier Network
Grace Period for Top Responders in CSN
Expected Release Date: 02/11/2026
What's Changed: We’re introducing a grace period for Top Responder badges on Cvent Supplier Network (CSN) so venues can maintain their hard‑earned recognition through normal fluctuations in RFP volume, while planners continue to see a reliable signal of responsiveness.
What’s changing:
Once a venue earns the Top Responder badge:
The venue will keep the badge for up to 120 days even if they don’t receive any new RFPs during that time.
If the venue receives a new RFP before 120 days, the standard Top Responder calculation logic is automatically applied again based on their latest performance.
There is no change to how or where the badge appears (for example, on the Search Results Page) and no change to what the badge means. It still highlights venues that consistently respond quickly to RFPs.
Benefit:
For Venues:
Fair recognition through demand dips: Seasonal or market-driven slowdowns no longer cause venues to temporarily lose a badge they worked hard to earn.
Brand continuity: Maintaining the Top Responder badge during quieter periods helps protect brand equity and avoids the perception of being “penalized” for normal market seasonality.
For Planners:
More consistent quality signals: The Top Responder badge remains a stable, trustworthy indicator of how responsive a venue is, instead of flipping on and off due to short-term volume gaps.
Greater confidence when shortlisting: Planners can rely on the badge when comparing venues, improving trust and confidence in their selection decisions.
