Cvent Vendor Marketplace Powered by Reposite
User Permissions & RFP Responder Feature for Reposite Suppliers
Expected Release Date: 02/25/2026
What's Changed: We’re enhancing Vendor Marketplace powered by Reposite with more flexible user access controls and a dedicated RFP Responder role so vendor teams can better manage who configures their profiles and who responds to quotes.
You can now use user-level permissions to control what each team member can see and do across profiles.
There is a clearer split between:
Admins: see all profiles and quotes; manage users, payments, integrations, and templates at the organization level.
Full access users: work only on assigned profiles and cannot change organization-level settings.
A new RFP Responder role lets Admins assign specific users as the designated quote responders for each profile, at both the organization and profile levels.
Quote activity notifications are now tied to RFP Responders so only the right people receive quote alerts by default
Non-responders, including admins, don’t get these alerts unless configured otherwise.
Daily and weekly digest emails remain unchanged.
Benefit: This update helps users:
Protect sensitive settings by limiting who can manage payments, integrations, and templates to Admins only.
Give the right people the right access so team members only see and work on the profiles they’re responsible for.
Clarify ownership of quotes by assigning an RFP Responder per profile, so it’s always clear who should reply.
Reduce inbox noise by directing quote notifications only to designated responders instead of your entire team.
RFP Showcase
Improved Planner Filtering on RFP Showcase Leads
Expected Release Date: 02/25/2025
What's Changed: We’re updating RFP Showcase filtering so when planners narrow their search by star rating, only venues that truly meet those criteria can see and respond to those RFPs.
Star-rating filters are now strictly enforced: When a planner posts an RFP to Showcase and specifies a minimum star rating (for example, 4-star and above), only venues that meet that rating will qualify for and see that opportunity.
Planners control whether unrated venues are included: A new “include unrated venues” checkbox lets planners decide if they want to open their RFP to venues without a star rating or limit responses to rated properties only.
Behind-the-scenes logic has been tightened: We’ve refined the qualification logic so the rating filters planners select are honored consistently in RFP Showcase. Only venues that match the specified rating settings can view and respond to those requests.
Benefit: While these changes are planner facing, it impacts suppliers with important benefits:
More qualified, relevant RFPs: You’ll see fewer RFPs that aren’t a match for your property and more opportunities where you genuinely meet the planner’s requirements.
Less time spent on low-probability leads: Because only qualified venues can respond, your team spends less time reviewing and bidding on opportunities you’re unlikely to win.
Stronger planner confidence in Showcase: Planners gain more control over venue quality, which helps build trust in RFP Showcase and encourages them to continue posting high-intent RFPs there, ultimately benefiting venues that are a good fit.
