Venue Directory
Top Responders in Venue Directory
Expected Release Date: 01/21/2026
What's Changed: We’ve introduced a Top Responder badge to highlight venues that reliably respond to RFPs quickly and thoroughly. This makes it easier for planners to identify responsive venues, while rewarding properties that deliver great service.
The badge appears on eligible venues across Venue Directory, My Events Portal, and GRATIS, and is visible to all planners globally.
How Venues Qualify
To earn the Top Responder badge, a venue must:
Respond to at least 90% of RFPs, with declines making up no more than 50% of those responses (last 3 months)
Maintain an on‑time response rate of at least 90% (last 3 months)
Have received more than 10 RFPs in the last 12 months
Scores are calculated monthly using data from the previous 3 full months. Only active venues with at least one non‑cancelled RFP in the last 12 months are evaluated.
The Top Responder badge cannot be purchased. It is awarded purely based on performance. While we calculate scores for all venues, the badge is displayed only on venues with an Enhanced Listing. It does not change the search result ranking in this initial release.
How Can Venues Earn or Keep the Badge?
Aim for a response rate of 90%+, with declines no more than half of your responses.
Maintain an on‑time response rate of 90%+.
Ensure you’re receiving at least 10 RFPs per year.
Once a venue meets these thresholds, the Top Responder badge is applied during the next monthly review cycle.
Benefits:
Stand out in the search: The Top Responder badge makes your property visually pop in Venue Directory, My Events Portal, and GRATIS, signalling to planners that you’re a reliable, responsive partner.
Attract more, better‑qualified enquiries: Planners actively prioritize venues that respond quickly and thoroughly, so being flagged as a Top Responder can drive more RFPs from planners who are ready to book.
Reinforce your service reputation: The badge is earned, not bought, so it serves as proof of strong service levels and responsiveness, helping build trust with new planners.
RFP Showcase
RFP Showcase Requests Now Integrated Into Your Manage RFP Workflow
Expected Release Date: 01/28/2026
What's Changed: When you navigate to the Manage RFP tab, you’ll now see a dedicated section that highlights your active RFPs from RFP Showcase in a single view. This grid shows up to 10 RFPs at a time, including key details such as:
RFP name and type
Response due date
Event dates
Peak room nights
Total meeting space
Total attendees
From this grid, you can click into any RFP to see full details and, if you have the appropriate access, claim the opportunity directly.
If you want to review additional opportunities beyond what appears in the grid, a quick link at the bottom of the section takes you to the full RFP Showcase view for deeper exploration.
Benefit: By surfacing RFP Showcase requests alongside your existing RFPs in Manage RFP, you’ll spend less time searching for the right information and more time focusing on winning business.
Reimagined RFP Showcase Delivers Faster Performance and Smarter Opportunity Matching
Expected Release Date: 01/28/2026
What's Changed: We’re rolling out a reimagined RFP Showcase experience that delivers faster performance, more relevant opportunities, and a more streamlined workflow for both venues and planners. This update helps suppliers quickly discover and act on the right business while giving planners greater confidence that their RFPs reach the best‑fit venues.
Smarter opportunity matching: We’ve refined how venues see and interact with RFPs in RFP Showcase so that the opportunities you see are more aligned to your property and business goals.
Qualified opportunities only: The Create Proposal button now appears only on RFPs where your venue meets all of the qualification criteria, helping you focus on the opportunities that are the best fit and avoid time spent on RFPs you’re unlikely to win.
Faster load times: Experience noticeably quicker page loads as you browse available RFPs, so you can review and respond to more opportunities in less time.
Consistent filtering: Benefit from a familiar, unified filtering experience across RFP Showcase and Lead Management, making it easier to apply the same strategy as you search and evaluate new business.
Enhanced navigation and control: We’ve also redesigned how you move through opportunities in RFP Showcase to provide more control, predictability, and performance in your day‑to‑day workflow.
Paginated browsing: Navigate RFPs with simple Previous and Next controls that improve performance and make it easier to keep track of where you are as you work through opportunities.
Stable filter options: Advanced filters now remain consistent instead of changing based on available data, giving you a reliable, repeatable search experience every time you visit.
Streamlined notifications: Quickly preview unread RFPs directly from your notifications so you can stay on top of new opportunities without disrupting your workflow.
Expanded visibility for CVB users: Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) users get added transparency into how RFPs are distributed across their venue portfolios.
Unified venue visibility: See the same set of qualified venues whether you’re reviewing opportunities on the RFP Showcase tab or looking at individual RFP details, so you have a clear, consistent view of how business is flowing across your destinations.
Benefit: This modernization results in a more scalable, responsive platform that grows with your business and makes it easier to identify, prioritize, and win the right opportunities.
