Sustainability Management Available on Supplier Profiles

Expected Release Date: 03/25/2026

What's Changed: We’re introducing a new sustainability management experience in the Cvent Supplier Network, giving eligible venues a simple way to highlight their sustainability practices and certifications directly in their CSN profiles. This helps you tell a stronger sustainability story to planners and makes it easier for them to compare venues on these criteria. Existing BeCause subscribers are not affected by this change; the Cvent & BeCause integration will continue as normal.

In North America, this feature will be available to all Diamond Listing customers. For suppliers in the rest of the world, any supplier can add this content. If your venue meets this criteria, you will see a new sustainability section in your Cvent account.

In the new Sustainability tab, you can:

• Add a sustainability overview: Enter a short, easy-to-understand description of your sustainability practices and initiatives.

• Upload sustainability certificates

  • Associate certificates with recognized agencies

  • Include validity dates

  • Attach supporting documentation for each certificate

• Confirm a data accuracy disclaimer: You’ll acknowledge that your venue is responsible for the accuracy of the sustainability information provided and that Cvent does not independently verify it.

Showcase your efforts to planners: Sustainability is an important factor in sourcing decisions. This new functionality gives you a clear, standardized way to surface your sustainability story and verified credentials.

Make it easier for planners to choose you: By capturing sustainability information in a consistent format across venues, planners can more easily understand, compare, and trust the sustainability details in your profile.
