Smarter Domain Rate Plan Transitions
Expected Release Date: 05/20/2026
What's Changed: If you use Domain Rate Plan transitions to roll configurations into a new contract year, those transitions now carry forward more of your setup automatically. This update is designed for Vault Administrators and NAMs and adds support for items that previously could be lost during transition, including fixed rates, dynamic rates, amenities, policies, taxes, currency settings, and applicable locks.
You’ll also still be able to choose from four transition levels, depending on how much of the existing setup you want to bring forward—from keeping properties and negotiated rate details to creating a clean copy for the new year.
To make transitions easier to track, the transition list now includes Last Attempted Level and Transition Status. If a transition doesn’t complete successfully, you’ll see a Failed status and can retry using the same transition level.
Benefit: This update helps you move rate plans into a new contract year with more confidence and less cleanup afterward. Your transitioned plans will be more complete, more accurate, and easier to manage in the new experience.
Reduce manual rework by carrying forward more of the rate plan configuration automatically.
Save time getting ready to send bids because fewer transitions need follow-up corrections or support help.
Keep control over how much data moves forward with four transition options that fit different workflows.
Troubleshoot more easily with clearer transition visibility and a retry option if something goes wrong.
