NEW: Smart Custom Proposals can now be integrated with the external Sales and Catering or CRM system of users

The product team has worked on some great improvements that we know you’re going to love.

Starting January 31, 2024, a new Proposal API is available for suppliers to write to allowing them to integrate their Sales & Catering or CRM system to leverage Smart Custom Proposals for all of their leads, not just the ones they receive from Cvent. This new integration will automatically populate the proposal form in Cvent using the RFP details from the lead in the external system, avoiding re-entry of data and saving a ton of time. It will also help suppliers drive consistent marketing for their venue across all the leads they receive.

Some key features include:

·       Suppliers can initiate a proposal from any type of lead in their Sales and Catering or CRM system.

·       The data from the lead will be copied into the proposal wizard within Cvent, which can be edited by the user as required.

·       A new simplified proposal form allows quick responses to planners while still leveraging the design capabilities of Smart Custom Proposals.

·       Proposals can be previewed before being sent to the Planners via email link.
