Hotel Managed Smart Alerts for Citywide & Event Organizer-owned events

Overview

Cvent Passkey’s Smart Alerts/Updates functionality is being enhanced to give hotels participating in citywide events the ability to independently manage their own alerts and updates. This self-service capability ensures hotels have clear control over their content, user access, and message relevance. Previously, only event organizers could enable and configure Smart Alerts for hotels. With this update, hotels can now manage these settings directly.

Key Features

  • Hotels can create new Smart Alerts and Updates directly within the system.

  • Hotels have access to their own internal library to add or reuse alerts and updates.

  • Hotels maintain full editing rights for all alerts and updates they create.

  • Hotels can duplicate their own alerts and updates for easy reuse.

  • Hotels can delete any alerts or updates they have created.

Visibility & Permissions

  • Alerts and updates created by one hotel are not visible to other hotels.

  • Each hotel can only view and manage the content they have added.


Enhanced Banners on Event Inventory Page

Overview

The banner system on the Event Inventory page has been redesigned and enhanced to deliver a cleaner, more intuitive interface. This update highlights key hotel details and streamlines the inventory management experience.

What's New

  • Hotel Name: Clearly displayed for quick identification.

  • Reservation Delivery Method: Instantly see if the hotel uses 1-way integration, 2-way integration, or RezHUB.

  • Integration Status: Visual indicators show whether the hotel’s integration is complete or incomplete.

  • Reservation Access Date: Access dates are now easy to view, helping users plan more effectively.

  • Hotel Contacts: Key contact details are shown upfront for faster communication. If contact information is missing, users can add it directly.
