New Map Experience on the Attendee Booking Site

Overview

We’re excited to introduce an upgraded map experience on the attendee booking site, designed to make it easier for attendees to find the perfect hotel near their event venue. The new map provides a clearer view of hotel options, distances, and travel modes, empowering attendees to make informed decisions when booking their stay.

What’s New

• Hotel Cards on the Map: Hotels now appear as interactive cards directly on the map, each displaying key details and the auto-calculated distance from the event venue.

• Three Travel Modes:

  • Default: Shows distances based on the event’s preferred travel mode (walking or driving).

  • Driving: Displays driving distance and estimated time from the venue to each hotel.

  • Walking: Displays walking distance and estimated time from the venue to each hotel.

• Interactive Focus: Clicking a hotel card centers the map on that hotel and reveals more details.

• Clearer Map Layout: The map now offers a clean, intuitive visual of both hotels and the event venue, making it easy to compare proximity at a glance.

Building on February’s refresh of the Hotel Selection Page, we’re continuing to enhance the Attendee Booking Site with a redesigned Room Selection Page. This update delivers a cleaner layout, richer visuals, and key feature enhancements—making it easier and more engaging for attendees to find the right room.

What’s New?

• Revamped Page Layout: A fresh, intuitive design makes browsing and selecting rooms effortless. Promo cubes are now more prominently displayed at the top of the page.

• Enhanced Header: The hotel name and a featured image are now displayed at the top, providing more context and visual appeal.

• Smarter Room Cards:

  • Guest capacity indicators

  • Bed type details

  • Selected stay dates

  • Availability alerts for sold out, waitlisted, or partially available nights

• “View All Available Dates” Upgrade:

  • A new calendar experience makes it easy to explore date-specific availability.

  • Select dates directly through the calendar, now with nightly pricing, alerts, and a clear view of total cost.

• Comprehensive Room Details:

  • High-quality room images

  • Clear room descriptions

  • Display of all applicable policies (e.g., cancellation, deposit)

• Transparent Pricing:

  • A new modal breaks down pricing night by night, including all taxes and fees for greater clarity.

• Smarter, Integrated Alerts:

  • All existing alerts remain, including minimum night stay, waitlist notifications, and room count warnings.

Filter Events by Event Owner or Affiliate Organization

The modernized Home Page for Passkey users now includes the ability to search for events by Event Owner or Affiliate Organization. This enhancement makes it faster and easier to find relevant events, whether your organization owns the event or is listed as an affiliate.

Key Highlights

• Flexible Design: This filter can be used standalone or with other filters in the section.

• Auto-Complete Functionality: Users will benefit from an auto-complete feature when entering text.

The Event Owner / Affiliate search field appears when you expand Advanced Search options on the Home Page:
