Room Type Order Enforcement [New UX]

We would like to inform you about a recent change that has been implemented to enhance the usability and efficiency of our platform. We have implemented room type order enforcement on the Property Rate Plan, Bid Rate Plan, and Proposal workflow for users on the new user experience (New UX) on Cvent Transient.

From now on, when creating a Property/Bid Rate Plan and/or completing the Proposal workflow, it is mandatory to list room types in ascending order based on the room rate. This means that you will need to order the room types from the lowest-priced room to the most expensive room.

For instance, if you have a Standard Room, a Deluxe Room, and a Suite, you should list them in that order, assuming the Standard has the lowest room rate.

This change is being implemented to align with the common standard in the industry, where ascending room type order based on rate is expected by Buyer side customers. By enforcing this validation, we aim to provide a more consistent and user-friendly experience for all users of our platform.
