External Proposal Status Changes

Change the status of proposals for RFPs received from outside of the Cvent ecosystem.

Expected Release Date: January 15th, 2025

Keep track of the stage your External Proposals are in with new proposal status updates. Suppliers can manage statuses themselves by canceling a proposal, self-awarding, or declining. Planners can award or decline External Proposals sent by a hotel in their Cvent accounts. The External Proposals section in Cvent will keep a real-time record of proposal statuses ensuring your team is always up-to-date on your group business from outside of Cvent.

Proposal statuses will be visible to any hotel user with RFP visibility. Planners will need to authenticate with a one-time password to view the proposal and update the status.

Note: This feature is for all Suppliers and Planners using the Cvent Supplier Network. Smart Custom Proposal customers have the added benefit of leveraging their custom templates on their External Proposals.
