Planner Navigator Missed Opportunity Enhancements and Notifications

DATE:
AUTHOR: The Supplier & Venue Solutions Product News Team

We have recently enhanced the way that Missed Opportunities work, and we've introduced a new Notifications feature.

Missed Opportunities

Expected Release Date: Already released!

What has changed?

  • Previously, applying a Missed Opportunity filter would overwrite all applied filters, and you could not undo the overwrite. Now, when you apply a Missed Opportunity filter, any filters that you had previously applied will remain (with exceptions listed in the note below). Once the Missed Opportunity filter is removed, the filters will remain.

    • Planner filters can now be applied alongside a Missed Opportunity, while RFP filters cannot.

    • NOTE: All RFP filters and the Activity Status Planner Filter directly conflict with Missed Opportunities and will be disabled while a Missed Opportunity filter is applied. Once the Missed Opportunity filter is removed, the conflicting filters will be reapplied.

Planner Navigator will show the below alert if a Missed Opportunities filter is applied:

Why did we change this?

  • We understand that you often want to filter missed opportunities even further, and enabling Planner filters on top of Missed Opportunities will allow you to do that.

  • While filtering Missed Opportunities down further is great, RFP filters and the Activity Status Planner Filter directly conflict with Missed Opportunities, leading to unintended results. To account for this, we have disabled those filters when a Missed Opportunity filter is applied.

Who does this impact?

  • This change applies to all Planner Navigator users.

Notifications

Expected Release Date: 25th April, 2025

What has changed?

  • You will now be notified via a new notifications bell when a My Prospects list has been assigned to you or your venue.

    • Clicking on a notification will take you directly to that My Prospects list page.

    • Notifications are ordered from most to least recent, and un-clicked notifications will have a visible purple dot next to them.

Why did we change this?

  • To be able to act quickly, Sales Managers need to be alerted as soon as they have been assigned a My Prospects list so they can take action.

Who does this impact?

  • This change applies to all Planner Navigator users.
