AUTHOR: The Supplier & Venue Solutions Product News Team

Expected Release Date: 29 January, 2025

1.    Above Property User (APU) Contacts

What is changing?

You can now assign Above Property Users to a planner within Planner Navigator, indicating that they have a working relationship with that planner.

  • Viewing/Managing APU Contacts - Users can view APU contacts by clicking on the "Above property contact" tag on a planner card or planner detailed page. You can also do the same by clicking "Add/Manage above property contacts" under the more actions dropdown.

  • Next, a modal will appear where you can view the contacts for that planner and manage those contacts if you have the correct user permissions. Contacts will appear automatically if they have been copied on an RFP by that planner, or they can be manually added by APUs.

How does this improve your experience?

This increases visibility between Above Property Users and Property Users to ensure that your property users are not trying to form connections with planners that already have working relationships with an Above Property User.

Who does this impact?

  • This change impacts all Planner Navigator Users

  • APUs can manage contacts, Property Users can view

2.    APU/DMO Planner Summary Graphics

What is changing?

There are two new graphics on the Planner Detailed page that help give a high-level overview of how that planner sources to your venue(s).

  • Venues with the most RFPs - Displays up to 5 venues that have received at least 1 RFP and their number of RFPs received / Proposal sent, ordered by number of RFPs received.

  • Venues that have not received RFPs - Displays up to 10 venues that have not received an RFP from the planner yet.

How does this improve your experience?

We have heard that at the above property level, you need a high-level overview of how a planner sources to your portfolio, instead of needing to dig into each individual RFP. These graphics will allow APUs to get all the data you need about the relationship between a planner and your venues at a glance.

Who does this impact?

These graphics will be shown to all APU and CVB/DMO users

3.    Planners You Know (PYK) Prospecting Assistant

What is changing?

Now, you can make use of Prospecting Assistant for PYKs. The Prospecting Assistant will analyze the last RFP that was sent to the venue and craft an email to the planner with that in mind.

How does this improve your experience?

In 2024, we released our Prospecting Assistant, an AI companion that helps you craft emails to send to leads within Planner Navigator based on the planner's sourcing needs and your venue's offerings. However, this was initially only available for Planners to Meet.

Who does this impact?

This feature is available for all Planner Navigator Users. The assistant will tailor its content specifically for CVBs/DMOs.
