Planner Navigator Q4 Release
In this quarterly release of Planner Navigator, we have added the ability to assign My Prospects lists, expanded our filter offerings, and enabled the sharing of planner statuses for Above Property Users.
Expected Release Date: November 13, 2024
Above Property User (APU) Public My Prospect Lists
What are the changes?
Above-property users (APUs) can now create public My Prospect Lists, which will be visible to other APUs in their Planner Navigator cluster and Property-Level Users (PUs) at venues in their cluster. This creates a more collaborative prospecting experience for both APUs and PUs and will minimize duplicate outreach.
APUs will also be able to search and view public My Prospect Lists created by other APUs in their cluster or by PUs at venues that are in their cluster. This visibility allows them to track the prospecting status of a given planner more effectively for better coordination.
Private lists are still available and will be only visible to the creator.
Who does this impact?
This feature can be utilized by Above Property Users.
Note: This is already available for Property Level Users and DMOs/CVBs.
Above Property User (APU) Status Sharing
What are the changes?
Above Property Users (APUs) within the same cluster will now share statuses for planners. For example, if another user in your cluster updates the status for Planner A to High Priority, the status that you see for Planner A will be updated to High Priority as well.
APUs and PUs will each have their own shared Planner Status field. The only place users will have visibility into the status of a different user type is on the My Prospect Lists. This allows them to track the outreach of their colleagues via the Lists while continuing to manage their own prospecting status for each planner.
Important Note: This change will be in effect for the next status change made for any planner in Planners You Know and Planners To Meet after November 13th, 2024. Any change made to the planner's status will update that planner's status across your whole cluster.
Who does this impact?
This feature applies to Above Property Users.
Note: This is already available for Property Level Users and DMOs/CVBs.
My Prospects List Assignment
What are the changes?
Users can now assign My Prospects Lists to other users in their organization for them to action, increasing the efficiency of their team's outreach efforts. Users can optionally select an assignee for a list when editing an existing list or creating a new list.
Property Users: Can assign My Prospects lists to other users at their property.
DMO/CVB Users: Can assign My Prospects lists to other users at their DMO/CVB.
Check out the new "Assign List" field below:
Above Property Users: Can assign My Prospects Lists to other users in the cluster, a property within their portfolio, or a property level user within their portfolio.
See the Above Property User "Assign List" field below:
Assigning a list to another user/venue allows them to add or delete planners. Renaming, reassigning, and deleting lists are only available to the list creator.
After a list has been assigned to a venue/user, the My Prospects List Status Column will change to "Assignee Status" and will show the Planner status designated by the assignee. This will allow the user who assigned the list visibility into the progress of outreach.
Users can now filter My Prospects lists by Visibility, Created By, Assignment, and Venue for ease of use. View the filter options below:
Who does this impact?
This feature can be utilized by Above Property Users, Property Level Users, and DMO/CVB Users.
Event Type Filter Offerings
We have heard requests from our customers for more filters that allow them to narrow their leads down to the specific type of planner they're prospecting for. These tailored filtering options will enable users to better manage their prospecting efforts.
What are the changes?
Event Type Filter (RFPs & Planners)
A new "Event Type" filter under both RFPs and Planners will allow users to filter to specific event types, such as Weddings, Incentive Travel, or other types of Events.
Citywide Filter/Indicator (RFPs & Planners)
A new "Citywide" filter for Planners and RFPs will allow users to target Citywide RFPs and Planners that sourced "Citywide" events.
Who does this impact?
This feature applies to all Planner Navigator users.
DMO/CVB-Specific Enhancements
Venue and Awarded Column on Your RFPs Table
A new "Venue" column indicates which venues in their MMA an RFP was sent to, and an "Awarded Venue" column indicates which venue was awarded the RFP. Note that the Awarded Venue column will only display the venue if it's within their DMO/CVB.
