We are providing a new feature in Room List Manager to help you automatically and intelligently map your roomlists.
What is Rooming List Assistant?
Rooming List Assistant is a valuable addition to Cvent Passkey, specifically designed to streamline the process of uploading rooming lists. This enhancement is extremely helpful for event organizers and hoteliers who are responsible for managing various lists such as staff, VIPs, board members, speakers, and more. By eliminating the need for manual mapping of reservations, Rooming List Assistant will save a significant amount of time.
When hoteliers upload rooming lists, Rooming List Assistant automatically maps all the important fields, ensuring a seamless process. Additionally, rooming lists dropped off by event planners (e.g. via the Planner Portal) can also benefit from the same automated mapping.
Why should hoteliers use Rooming List Assistant?
Hoteliers should use Rooming List Assistant because it eliminates room mapping inconsistencies and enhances the user experience with Cvent Passkey. It also increases efficiency by intelligently processing rooming lists in Excel and CSV formats, eliminating the need for manual input.

What problems does this solve?
Time-consuming, manual rooming list mapping; the rooming list has to be in Excel format and, after uploading, the planner normally has to go through every column of data and manually map the correct fields.
Overcomes inconsistent naming of data in rooming lists to provide the most likely mapping
Reduces back and forth between the event organizer and the planner

Multi-Hotel Group Booking Support
This feature is relevant for multi-location, resort-style properties.

We are excited to announce new capabilities for the "Group Booking" reservation flow within Passkey's Attendee Booking Site. Previously, a single booking contact could confirm multiple reservations for related travelers in a single reservation workflow, however this capability limited each reservation to be made within the same hotel. With this enhancement, group bookings may now be made across multiple hotels giving booking contacts more flexibility when creating and managing group bookings. This functionality will be available for all Passkey customers who manage multi-hotel and Citywide events and no additional setup is required.
What have we done?
Improved the Booking Site experience: Booking contacts and Guests can make multiple reservations at multiple hotels simultaneously.
Updated the Reservation Summary widget: You can now see cost totals by individual rooms and hotels or as a grand total across all hotels.
Updated the Group Booking Acknowledgement templates (Master Acknowledgements): We've introduced a new layout with essential booking details and summaries by hotel.
Improved how underlying single reservations are modified via the Passkey Booking Site or Call Center Module: If event rules allow, hotel, room types, or stay dates may be modified while maintaining the reservation within the original group booking.
