Hotel and Room Filters in the Multi-Room Booking Tool

Expected Release Date: 02/11/2026

What's Changed: Users searching for reservation(s) within an event can now easily filter down to what they are looking for by hotel and room type. Not only can this help Cvent Passkey users quickly navigate to reservations they are looking for by the new parameters, but it allows for bulk modifications or cancellations to more easily happen by surfacing groups of reservations by hotel and/or room type.

A new option has been added within the advanced search feature of the Multi-Room Booking tool (MRB) to help filter reservations. A hotel can be selected and, optionally, a room.

Benefit: 

• Time savings for hotels and planners: Hotels and planners benefit from time saved and easier reservation management, especially when performing bulk updates or cancellations across groups of reservations.

• Improved flexibility: You can now filter their reservations by Hotel and/or Room within the context of their other advanced search parameters.

• Cleaner user experience: Avoids the need to sort large reservation lists and then page through results to find the hotel and room of interest.

Together, these improvements make it faster and easier to manage reservations at scale while keeping the experience simple for users who work in Cvent Passkey every day.

Important notes

• The Hotel and Room filters work in cooperation with other advanced filters.

• The Room filter will dynamically update the list of rooms based on the Hotel selected.

• If there is only one Hotel in the event or accessible to the user, the Hotel filter will be prepopulated with that property.
