Spotlight: Registration, Reimagined: Launch Faster, Manage Smarter
We heard your feedback requesting an easier way to create and manage events, which is why we rolled out several updates to our Registration product in 2025. With that goal in mind, we reimagined how planners set up, price, and optimize event registrations into an end-to-end workflow, making the process easier, faster, and smarter with data-driven decision-making.
Here's a day-in-the-life walk-through with event planner Emma of the improved planner experience!
When Emma, an event planner at a rapidly growing tech company, sat down to organize her annual user conference, she felt a familiar sense of being overwhelmed: too many deadlines, too many stakeholders, and not enough time.

As a result, she completed her setup in a fraction of the time and didn't need a separate checklist to ensure registration was ready.
This streamlined process led to faster setup, fewer errors, and allowed Emma to dedicate more time to focusing on content, sponsors, and strategy.
Pricing Management with Centralized Control
Pricing used to be Emma’s biggest headache.
Every change required opening multiple pages, updating each fee individually, and hoping that nothing was overlooked.
Now, from the Registration Overview, she can simply turn on pricing. With that one action:
- The payment widget is added to her site designer.
- She is taken directly to the new Pricing page.
In the Manage Fees view, Emma can update multiple fees at once and immediately see how they correspond to each registration type. The redesigned layout makes even complex pricing structures easier to understand.
Before going live, she reviews her setup and feels confident that there are no hidden inconsistencies or last-minute surprises. This new process results in less manual work, clearer pricing, and a reduced risk of costly errors.
Registration Insights in Real Time
When registration opened, Emma didn’t have to wait for a weekly report or export spreadsheets. Instead, she returned to the Registration Overview and accessed Registration Insights.
On a single screen, she could:
- Track the pace of registrations against capacity and goals.
- See which registration types and admission items were filling up the fastest.
- Identify early if she needed to boost marketing efforts or adjust capacity.
As a result of having this real-time data, Emma was able to make proactive changes. She opened up a few more seats for a high-demand workshop and shifted her promotional focus to a segment that was lagging behind. This way, Emma experienced faster, data-driven decision-making and an increased likelihood of meeting her registration targets.
Audience Personalization that Proves its Value
Emma aimed to make each audience feel that the event was specifically designed for them, without overwhelming herself with complex forms.
To achieve this, she utilized audience segments and set up widget visibility logic so that each group only saw relevant content and questions.
